The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is a watershed moment in not only gaming, but pop culture history in general. It smashed open the door to true 3D adventure games while setting up a lot of the mechanics we see in today's video games. On top of that, you can rarely visit any entertainment convention without seeing a few Links and Princess Zeldas walkin' around.
But who were the people involved, and how did they overcome the limitations of their technology?
